        Best Practice :

Counseling through virtual platform as a part of social responsibility.
        Constructing websites: www.psychologya2z.com&www.counselling4all.com.

We are one of the oldest Dept. and Research Centre in Psychology till now we were limited to spreading education and awareness about Psychology and Psychological aspect at our dept with the research orientation. Now-a-days, our society is getting more and more ‘Digitalized’. The virtual space has provided virtual platform where we can approach appropriate audience. So our Dept. of Psychology has decided that we will provide virtual platform for the society.

        1. We the psychologists believe that we should focus on creating awareness among society about Psychology and its application in various fields.
        2. Helping psychologically to a client who is a person suffering from psychological disorder as he is himself is clueless that he has a psychological disorder. And if somehow he comes to know that he is suffering from psychological disorder he/ she doesn’t have will power to approach psychologist because unfortunately his family members don’t support him to approach psychologist because they believe that disclosing this problem means proclaim him a mental patient and it leads to social stigma.

So, for our first psychological Audience we are making  the website which is www.psychologya2z.comThe main aim to make this websites is to provide Digitalized form of Psychological Study Material (Such as Psychology Evolution & Evaluation, Information about Psychologist and their Contribution towards Psychology, Standardized, Non-standardized Tests, Psychological Experiments and so on…) So that our students and common people who are curious about psychology can visit our website to dig more about it.
To complete this herculean task we are going to form two committees so far:

        1. Data Review Committee: who will review all the written available data related to psychology and make it summarized to put on websites.
        2. Data input committee: who will make data online in appropriate form. (The committees will have HOD, the faculties of the dept& UG and PG students.

For Our second Psychological Audience (clients) we’re making the website
www.counselling2all.com: The main aim to make this website is to provide free counseling for a client who is suffering from psychological disorders.
We are planning to give a telephonic session for counseling too (futuristic view).  This will be provided by the faculties of the dept& PG students. We have the ownership right for the above mention websites and they are under construction.
