Board of Extra-Mural Activities
The University established the Board of Extra-Mural Studies (BEMS) in 1949 for adult education, extension, and enlightenment. The purpose of BEMS is to bring the University's resources and facilities to the people, fostering economic, social, and cultural development. Since its inception, BEMS has organized lecture series, extension education, and need-based programs.

- Conduct lecture series, summer schools, and need-based programs for the community.
- Develop e-content, online learning programs, and MOOCs for the community.
- Organize awareness campaigns and cultural programs for senior citizens.
- Coordinate with academic departments, colleges, private institutions, and NGOs for university extension activities.
